How does it work?

Pay for the 1/2 Hour Consultation Fee using a Credit Card, Debit Card or PayPal. You will provide us your phone number(s) during the payment process and our office will call you to set up a time that works for you. That time can be in the upcoming hour, or later that evening –or– even on a weekend, if necessary, so that you can prepare for it. You will be getting a lot of detailed, legal information and you will want to be prepared to take notes or possibly even have your spouse or co-tenant on an extension phone for the conference.

What If I Need More Legal Help?

We are here for you! If you were served an “Unlawful Detainer Lawsuit,” for example, you might choose to answer that legal summons. If you do, you have a very short 5-day window and will need some fast, legal help. We can and will draft that legal answer for you so you can meet that deadline and save a ton of money by avoiding a local, overpriced lawyer.

That said…. No matter what other services that you might need, it really is necessary that we start with a 30-minute consultation so that YOU KNOW what options that you have, and WE KNOW what you want to accomplish. During the 30-minute consultation, we can work together to form a legal strategy that will work best for your unique circumstances. Following our consultation, when you have explored all your possible options, if you decide to take some proactive steps just tell us what you want us to do for you. For example, you might want nothing more than to have us prepare and overnight a carefully-crafted lawyer letter to your landlord to show him that you have legal counsel and perhaps he or she will “back down.” You might want us to draft a legal “answer” to an Unlawful Detainer for you to FIGHT BACK or as a clever strategy to “buy more time.” Geeeeze…. How can people be expected to uproot their lives and move on such short notice!#? By fighting back, minimally you switch the tables on the landlord and you gain more control over WHEN you might leave… Such strategies can “buy you” 30 to 75-days or more before you have to find a new residence.
